Responsibilities: 

• Analyze federal, state, and local tax laws and apply them to complex, client-specific situations to determine appropriate tax treatment and ensure compliance.

• Analyze and review tax returns for individuals and business entities, evaluate tax positions, and identify opportunities for tax optimization in alignment with applicable regulations.

• Conduct tax research and interpret evolving tax regulations to support compliance and the development of tax planning strategies.

• Evaluate clients’ financial data, including income, expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other operational metrics, to assess financial performance and support cash flow analysis and tax planning.

• Provide tax planning and advisory services by analyzing the tax implications of business operations, financial transactions, and entity structures, and recommending tax-efficient strategies. 

• Perform financial analysis to identify trends, assess cash flow patterns, and evaluate the financial impact of operational and investment decisions.

• Analyze the financial and tax implications of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing activities, and support decision-making through cash flow forecasting and risk assessment.

• Interpret tax laws and translate complex tax and financial concepts into clear and practical guidance for clients to support informed financial and tax-related decision-making, and assist in responding to tax authority inquiries using accounting and tax software tools.

• Prepare multi-state and individual tax return.

Requirements: Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
